Application Form Pitch Your Project
The EU Strategy for the Alpine Region (EUSALP) aims to actively involve young people when it is about to make the Alpine Region fit for the future. “PITCH YOUR PROJECT” is a competition for young people and young adults between 16 and 29 years. As experts of our living space, the Alpine Region, the young people were invited to submit their project ideas for a sustainable development of the Alpine Region individually or as a group.
Under the slogan “Your Alps! Your Future! Your Idea!” this is a call to submit project ideas for an attractive, modern and sustainable development of the Alpine region until October 15th, 2025.
Taking part is worthwhile: The representatives of the 5 best project ideas are invited to the final event of the competition. At the finale, the candidates present their projects in a pitching session to an audience of international experts. The audience then directly vote on which three projects receive the prize money of 5,000, 3,000 and 2,000 Euros respectively for their implementation.

This year 4 topics are proposed to the applicants:
- Mobility transformation: innovations to reduce car dependency in everyday life by improving the attractiveness of sustainable mobility options, solutions to improve cross-border mobility, to strengthen multimodality, decarbonise the transport system and encourage modal shift in freight transport.
- Energy transformation: promotion of renewable energies, innovative means of information about possibilities to save energy, concepts and approaches to relax certain conflicts of use with regard to wind, solar and hydropower.
- Construction industry transformation: how can circular construction and refurbishment be boosted and become an economically attractive and successful (business-) model in the Alpine region?
- Youth involvement: how can youth be mobilised to improve their participation in public life at different levels and in diverse decision-making processes? How can they participate more in local democracy and support local projects?
