Funding
Since 2000, the Interreg Alpine Space programme has funded hundreds of cooperation projects tackling common challenges for the benefit of the 80 million inhabitants of the Alpine region.
Funded projects involve public authorities, institutions of higher education, businesses and/or associations.
Every seven years, the programme redefines its objectives based on the needs of the Alpine region and the policy goals of the European Union.

Funded projects involve public authorities, institutions of higher education, businesses and/or associations. Every seven years, the programme redefines its objectives based on the needs of the Alpine region and the policy goals of the European Union.
For 2021-2027, funded projects have to address one of the following priorities:
- Climate resilience: Promote adaptation to climate change and/or improve the protection and conservation of nature.
- Carbon neutrality: Promote energy efficiency and/or the transition to a circular economy.
- Innovation and digitalisation: Develop and strengthen research and innovation capacities and/or reap the benefits of digitalisation for a green Alpine region.
- Governance: Strengthen the institutional capacity of public authorities and stakeholders to implement common territorial strategies.
Among the current projects, Support EUSALP enables the long-term follow-up on EUSALP’s objectives and priorities, as well as the implementation of the 9 Action Groups’ work plans.

We are looking for interpreters!
As part of the Austrian–Liechtenstein Co-Presidency of the EU Strategy for the Alpine Region (EUSALP) in 2025, the Region of Tyrol will host the EUSALP Annual Forum and the Political General Assembly, which will take place in Innsbruck.
For this occasion, a team of simultaneous interpreter is sought for 25 November 2025, from 12:00 to 19:00 Uhr, at Congress Innsbruck.
The required languages are: German – English – French – Italian – Slovenian.
Please submit your offers by 5 November 2025 at the latest to aussenbeziehungen@ . tirol.gv.at
The contract will be awarded as a direct award procedure in accordance with § 46 of the Austrian Federal Procurement Act (BVergG 2018), based on the lowest price principle.
