Political inputs

The Bad Ragaz Declaration, adopted on 19 October 2023 at the General Assembly under the Swiss Presidency, expressed support for:

• Revising the Commission Staff Working Document EUSALP Action Plan, accompanying the document Communication from the Commission to the European Parliament, the Council, the European Economic and Social Committee and the Committee of the Regions concerning the European Union Strategy for the Alpine Region, dated 28 July 2015.
• Setting up a Task Force with the responsibility to propose to the Executive Board a draft revised Action Plan paper, with the guiding principles that it will be more readable and concise spelling out the Alpine politicians shared common issues to tackle at the level of the Alpine region; more unified & pragmatic presenting the overview of the organisation put in place to tackle these issues.
