The circus company "Cirkaêtre", 2nd winner of 2023 edition of Pitch Your Project, is performing in Germany.

The young artists of the company "Cirkaêtre" finished second in the 2024 edition of Pitch Your Project thanks to their inspiring show that raises awareness about the effects of climate change. They won a prize of 3,000 euros and gained valuable civic experience during their visit to Strasbourg.

This summer, they embarked on an unprecedented tour for this young troupe of artists, spreading their art and message beyond French borders in Germany.

The young performers have been a real hit with local audiences and are even offering circus workshops to inspire their German neighbors to take up the art form.

The tour's packed program includes three introductory circus workshops with around 70 participants aged 5 to 45, two performances of the show "Cirq'constance de demain," and one performance of another show by the Solfasirc troupe, "Entre-pinces," as well as a convivial meal themed "Chartreuse" for the volunteers of the association hosting the young artists. All of this took place despite some rain and passing storms!

To conclude this experience brought a lot of great memories including:

• A thunderous welcome in Oberursel and the Cirkaëtre troupe at their best!
• Beautiful Franco-German encounters with lots of new words learned by both the young artists and the participants
• Building circus vocations among the Germans, and hundreds of people who, for the first time in their lives, heard about the Chartreuse mountain range...
• The young artists loved spending four days living in a privatized gymnasium!

At the end everyone wants more and this is what we want for every winners of Pitch Your Project Competition!
