Shaping the Alpine H2 Vision 2030

The European Hydrogen Strategy was launched in 2020. After five years, what concrete impact did it have for the Alpine area? And what will the common goals be for the Alpine Macroregional Strategy, towards 2030? Which are the new challenges, opportunities and needs to be faced in reshaping the Alpine action plans for next 5 years? These are the main questions around an Eusalp event that will be held in Turin (Italy), hosted by the Piedmont Region, on April 16th and 17th.
Save the date for a high-profile event where H2 Strategies coordinators and implementers from the Eusalp Regions will gather to share ideas and shape visions for the future of clean hydrogen in the Alpine area. Starting from the letter of intent signed in 2021 by 11 Eusalp Regions, the debate will be structured around some topics such as: the advancement of regional H2 strategies, the possible interregional cooperation needed to reach the 2030 objectives, the role of the Alpine Regions as drivers of the H2 development in Europe and the lobbying actions to be addressed to the European institutions.
The results of the debate will feed two documents (a position paper and some policy recommendations) which will be submitted for approval by the governance of the Strategy as outcomes of the Cross Cutting Priority in Accelerating the Energy Transition for a Carbon-Neutral Alpine Region.
