Action group 7 recently convened in Genova for the 22nd group meeting. The meeting was structured over three days. The first and third days were devoted to internal discussion touching upon the group’s activities and organization, pending projects and strategic future orientations. Important items on the agenda were also the GI goes business award, which will soon be launched for its third edition, and the nature restoration law. These discussions were held at headquarters of ANCI Liguria located in the historic Palazzo Ducale, where members were welcomed by Pierluigi Vinai, Director General of ANCI Liguria, Laura Muraglia, Head of European and International Affairs Sector of Regione Liguria and Marco Rolandi, the referent for Interreg Programmes Strategic Development Department of Regione Liguria.
The second day was instead dedicated to a study visit in different locations of Ligurian Alps, where members had the possibility to see firsthand the outputs of projects developed through European Funding Programs, notably Life and Alcotra.
