THE WEEK 2025: Week of Regions and Cities will take place in Brussels on 13-15 October 2025.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the #EURegionsWeek 2025 kick-off meeting of march 26th, has been postponed to Wednesday 9 April. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
The kick meeting will now take place:
- On 9 April, 10:30 - 12:30 (Brussels time)
- At Breydel Auditorium (European Commission, Avenue d'Auderghem 45, Brussels)
The event will also be live-streamed. Online participants will be able to interact via Slido.

- In-person registrations will be treated on a first come first served basis.
- Online participants do not need to register.
- The meeting will be recorded and available for later viewing.

The European Commission's Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy and the European Committee of the Regions are looking forward to jointly presenting this year's motto, themes, formats, and milestones.
The broad 3 themes (precise titles may change but broadly the meaning) will be:
- Cohesion and growth of the future
- The right to stay: how do we make it happen
- The cities of tomorrow
This year’s formats are:
- 90 minutes: panel discussion
- 60 minutes: workshop
- 30 minutes: talks and stands (around 50 stands)
