The EU Strategy for the Alpine Region (EUSALP) aims to actively involve young people when it is about to make the Alpine Region fit for the future. “PITCH YOUR PROJECT” is a competition for young people and young adults between 16 and 29 years. As experts of our living space, the Alpine Region, the young people were invited to submit their project ideas for a sustainable development of the Alpine Region individually or as a group.
Under the slogan “Your Alps! Your Future! Your Idea!” this is a call to submit project ideas for an attractive, modern and sustainable development of the Alpine region until October 1st, 2024.
Taking part is worthwhile: The representatives of the 5 best project ideas are invited to the final event of the competition. At the finale, the candidates present their projects in a pitching session to an audience of international experts. The audience then directly vote on which three projects receive the prize money of 5,000, 3,000 and 2,000 Euros respectively for their implementation.

- What can be imagined to save water in times of drought?
- How to develop new ideas to avoid too strong impacts of floodings?
- Boosting Circular economy
- Relocalisation of traditional activities, short supply chains, promotion of local products.

- Youth involvement
- How can youth be mobilised to improve the quality of life in the Alps?
- How can we encourage the youth to participate more in local democracy?
- How can we support local projects initiated by the youth?
- Mobility
- Innovations to reach touristic places without individual car, promotion of good practices existing in the alpine region or other interesting initiatives.
