The Annual Forum 2017 of the EU Alpine Strategy will take place on 23 and 24 November 2017 in the Munich BMW Welt.
Conference of the Environment Ministers of the EUSALP member states and regions on Green Infrastructure
On 2 October 2017, State Minister Ulrike Scharf will invite the environment ministers of the EUSALP member states and regions to a conference in Munich. The conference aims to establish the Alps as a European model region for Green Infrastructure.
During the 7th meeting, AG1 will welcome JRC as new AG1 formal Observer and it will discuss about its subgroups’ activities; the instruments of transnational cooperation (ERA NET); the new research & teaching proposal "MORE-Alps"; the project "RE-SEARCH ALPS"; the EUSALP website and PoK.
Adequate financial resources for EUSALP's project work having been insufficient so far, the Bavarian EUSALP Presidency has made the future of the EU regional policy one of its main priorities.
On 14 and 15 February 2017, a Forum of the nine Action Groups of the EU Alpine Strategy took place in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The Action Groups are responsible for the concrete implementation of the political priorities adopted by the General Assembly.
On 13 February 2017, the first General Assembly of the EU Alpine Strategy under Bavarian presidency convened in Rottach-Egern.

On 29 November 2016, the cornerstones of the work programme for the Bavarian presidency were presented to an interested public during an evening event in the Representation of the Free State of Bavaria to the European Union in Brussels.
