From May 13 to 15, the EUSALP Youth Council (YC) gathered in Bolzano/Bozen to participate to several working sessions and field visits, organised by the Italian Presidency.
On Friday, the YC members met the members of Action Groups (AGs) to exchange on working opportunities in the Alps (AG3), green mobility (AG4), green infrastructure as an opportunity for young people to sustainably shape the Alpine region (AG7), and energy communities (AG9). The meeting allowed to keep on precising the shape of the cooperation between YC and AGs, and was positively received by YC members, who plan to organize other meetings like this one. In the afternoon, YC members took part in the GI Goes Business Awarding Ceremony and visit to the winery Schmid-Oberrautner.
On Saturday, following a working session in NOI Techpark, YC members visited the Salewa Climbing Cube. During the tour, experts Martin Knapp (Salewa) and Norbert Klammsteiner (Energytech) presented the energy concept of the building, as well as the social responsibility of the company.
On Sunday, a final working session was held. This was the last working session of the members under this mandate: the next meeting, organised in Juy in Grenoble, will welcome the new YC members for 2022-2023.
