A study conducted by the AG3 on soft skills

30th May 2022

The European Strategy for the Alpine Macro Region (EUSALP) involves 5 EU Member States (Austria, Italy, Germany, France, Slovenia), 2 non-EU countries (Switzerland and Liechtenstein) and 48 regions on an equal footing and, through enhanced cooperation projects, aims to provide adequate responses to challenges common to the territories it comprises.

The Autonomous Province of Trento is leading the Action Group 3 (AG 3) whose mission is to "promote the adequacy of labour market education and training in strategic sectors".

In the framework of the AlpGov 2 project, co-financed with ERDF funds through the Interreg Alpine Space programme, AG 3 equipped itself with a Work Plan valid for the three-year period 2020-2022 and decided to deepen the theme of soft skills in the context of the WBL, with reference to the Alpine Region.

It started from the consideration that there is a lack of effective and common tools able to support the assessment of these learning outcomes in various contexts (formal, non- formal and informal) to finally arrive at the creation of a common framework of tools for the observation and assessment of soft skills.

This study work is being carried out with the members of the AG 3, the Demarchi Foundation of Trento and IRES of the Autonomous Region Friuli Venezia Giulia. The final material will be presented in the framework of the final event of the Alp Gov 2 project (24th June 2022) and in the Annual Forum organised by the Italian EUSALP 2022 Presidency, under the responsibility of the two Autonomous Provinces.
