“A Strategy for the Citizens – The work programme for the Bavarian presidency 2017 over the implementation of the EU Strategy for the Alpine Region (EUSALP)”
On 29 November 2016, the cornerstones of the work programme for the Bavarian presidency were presented to an interested public during an evening event in the Representation of the Free State of Bavaria to the European Union in Brussels.
The second EUSALP AG6 meeting took place on November 21-22, 2016 in Innsbruck.
At the presence of the delegates of 5 alpine countries (Italy, Switzerland, Slovenia, France and Germany), AG5 takes the first official steps.
The growing mobility demand is one of the main challenges for the ecological and economic development in the Alpine regions.
The 3rd Action Group Meeting took place on 8 November 2016 in Innsbruck.
The fourth AG1 internal meeting takes place in occasion of the event GlobalConnect trade fair. The AG can take part at the complete event and is offered a workshop on Bioeconomy by AG2. AlpGov Lead Partner presents shortly the concept for the Bavarian Presidency (2017) regards the planned cross-cutting events and the flagship projects (14-16 February 2017 in Garmisch - Partenkirchen). Then the AG1 internal meeting takes place.
The Workshop on new value chains in the field of Bioeconomy and Medical Technology demonstrates how two different sectors come together through cross-sectoral approach with reference to Medicaltechnology an Bioeconomy.

The 2nd Action Group Meeting took place on 28 June 2016 in Bolzano.
At the 12th steering meeting of Priority Area 2 of the EU Danube Region Strategy (EU DRS), Maren Meyer presented the work of EUSALP and Action Group 9 Energy.
The meeting serves to get a common idea among the co-leaders about the aims, working method and results of AG5 as well as to define the next steps.
